Scheib is a locality and under the name Scheibb a cadastral municipality of the municipality of Kirchschlag in the district of Zwettl in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 34 building areas with 14,797 m² and 5 gardens on 3,286 m² in the Scheibb cadastral community , in 1989/1990 there were 56 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 89 and in 2009/2010 there were 63 buildings on 92 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. At the turn of the year 1979/1980, 265 hectares were used for agriculture and 249 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 223 hectares and 289 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 194 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 304 hectares. Scheibb's average soil climate number is 16.6 (as of 2010).
