The Scheidebach , on the upper reaches of the mark, is a left tributary of the Lausitzer Neisse with a length of approx. 2.5 km in the town of Zittau in the east Saxon district of Görlitz .

description

The stream rises as a mark on Steinberg between Oberseifersdorf and Wittgendorf and initially flows through the fields north of Radgendorf in a south-easterly direction . Its course leads past Radgendorf to the east at the foot of the former landfill. At the Roten Berg ( 245.6  m above sea level ) the Fröschelbach flows from the right.

Below the confluence of the Marke and the Fröschelbach, the water is called "Scheidebach". The stream flows on its lower course at the inn "Drausendorfer Krone" under the federal road 99 and the railway line Zittau – Görlitz . South of Drausendorf it flows into the Lusatian Neisse .

The brand natural monument extends along the upper reaches north of Radgendorf on 2.4 hectares. To the west of the B 99 is the natural monument "Wiese am Scheidebach - Herbstzeitlosewiese" on 0.5 hectares.
