Pond

The Schleissbühlweiher lies between the towns of Büchelberg and Haundorf in the Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen district in Central Franconia .

The approximately one hectare large pond located on the edge of the splitter hill country in the Franconian Lake District not far west of Eichenberg , southwest of Haundorf and northeast of Büchelberg at the foot of Büchel Berg's the middle Haundorfer forest at an altitude of 426 meters above  mean sea level . The Schleißbühlweiher is traversed by the Haundorfer Weihergraben . The Schleißbühlweiher belongs together with the adjacent still waters of the Holzweiher and Haundorfer Weiher to a chain of ponds. The Eichenberger Weiher , Branderweiher , Speckweiher and Schnackenweiher to the southeast do not belong to the pond chain .
