The former studio of the painter Franz Xaver von Pausinger is on the fourth floor of the building . After Pausinger, the Salzburg painter Franz Jung-Ilsenenheim worked here , from whom several dioramas in the House of Nature come. In the 1980s, Friedrich M. Welz wanted to found an “Austrian Academy of Arts” here together with Oskar Kokoschka , but this could not be realized.

The tower-like castle with its northern stair tower has a flat hipped roof , on which a small turret is placed on the north and south sides. The southern tower rests on arched pillars. Here a double conglomerate staircase leads to the garden ground floor. The current facades date from the second half of the 18th century. The castle is located in a spacious park.

Today the castle is privately owned and cannot be visited.
