Schmelzle + Partner mbB Architekten BDA is an internationally active German architecture firm . The office is run by Siegfried Schmelzle and three other partners. Around 50 people are employed in the office in the Hallwangen district of the small town of Dornstetten . The focus of the office is in the areas of industrial , commercial and administrative buildings.

history

The office was founded in 1973 by Christian Schmelzle in Hallwangen . In 1983 Siegfried Schmelzle joined his father's architecture office. In 1985, father and son founded the architectural office C + S Schmelzle. In 1995 Siegfried Schmelzle founded together with the previously freelance architects Anke Lohmiller and Claus Matt Schmelzle + Partner Architects. In 2007 the office took on Michael Frey as a partner, Anke Lohmiller left the community in 2012. In 2013, Peter Gärtner was accepted as a partner. For the IT campus of Vector Informatik GmbH Stuttgart , to date the "best building according to DGNB worldwide", the office was awarded the DGNB Diamonds in 2017 for outstanding design and architectural quality.
