The individual competition took place on July 10th. 44 jumpers took part. In addition, Lars Grossen , Antoine Guignard and Marco Staub did not compete, Fabian Gerber and Roger Schuler were disqualified. Michael Möllinger was Swiss champion ahead of Simon Ammann and Andreas Küttel .
