The Scorff ( Breton Skorf ) is a river in France that runs in the Brittany region . It rises in the northern section of the municipality of Ploërdut , initially drains in a northeastern direction, then turns to the south and flows 79 kilometers between the cities of Lanester and Lorient as a right tributary into the confluence of the Blavet . The influence of the tides reaches up to the town of Pont-Scorff ; from there to its mouth, the Scorff itself also forms a cone. On its way the river crosses the Morbihan department , but also touches the Côtes-d'Armor and Finistère departments .
