Scott Clements (born July 19, 1981 in Mount Vernon , Washington ) is a professional American poker player . He is three-time bracelet winner of the World Series of Poker .

Clements worked as a mortgage broker before starting poker . He lives in Mount Vernon .

Poker career

Career

Clements played online from July 2006 to September 2015 under the nicknames BigRiskky ( PokerStars , UltimateBet and bwin ) , Scott Clements ( Full Tilt Poker ) and BigRiskkyy ( partypoker ) . He has tournament revenues of over 3.5 million US dollars . Since 2005, Clements has also participated in renowned live tournaments .

Clements was successful for the first time in July 2005 at the World Series of Poker (WSOP) at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas and finished in 529th place in the main event . 2006 he won the WSOP Tournament of a variant of Omaha Hi-Lo and received about 300,000 US dollars prize money and a bracelet . At the end of October 2006, Clements won the Canadian Poker Open in Niagara Falls and secured around 250,000 Canadian dollars . He won a Pot-Limit Omaha tournament at the 2007 WSOP , earning him his second bracelet and nearly $ 200,000. At the beginning of November 2007, Clements also won the Main Event of the World Poker Tour in Niagara Falls and received his highest prize money to date of the equivalent of more than $ 1.5 million. At the 2009 WSOP , he finished second in the Omaha Hi / Lo World Championship for around $ 275,000. A year later, Clements reached the eighth day of the tournament at the WSOP main event and was eliminated there in 18th place. For this he received prize money of almost $ 400,000. At the 2013 WSOP , he finished second in a Hold'em event that was paid for just under $ 300,000. In late June 2017 , Clements sat at the final table of the WSOP Pot Limit Omaha Championship and finished fourth for just under $ 280,000. At the 2019 WSOP , he won a Dealers Choice tournament and secured the main prize of around $ 145,000 alongside his third bracelet.

In total, Clements has made more than eight million dollars playing poker in live tournaments.
