Seb Morris

Sebastian "Seb" Morris (born November 30, 1995 in Wrexham , Wales ) is a British racing driver . He started in the GP3 series in 2015 .

Career

Morris began his motorsport career in 2007 in karting , where he remained active until 2010 and won several championships. In 2010 he also got into GT racing and drove in the Ginetta Junior Championship for the Hillspeed team . He was twelfth in the drivers' championship and won the winter championship. In 2011, Morris stayed in the Ginetta Junior Championship and won the drivers' championship.

In 2012, Morris made his debut in formula racing and drove for Fortec Motorsports in the BARC Formula Renault . He won five races and was third in the drivers' championship. In addition, Morris started for Fortec in 2012 in the Northern European Formula Renault and became champion in the winter series of the BARC Formula Renault. In 2013, Morris returned to Hillspeed and competed in the newly founded BRDC F4 Championship . Morris won a race and was second overall with 410 to 445 points behind Jake Hughes . In 2014 Morris moved again to Fortec Motorsports and started in the Northern European Formula Renault. While his teammate Ben Barnicoat won the championship, Morris finished third overall with two wins and a total of five podium finishes. He also took part in four Alpine Formula Renault races for Fortec. He achieved a podium placement. In 2014, Morris was also part of the Caterham F1 Team's support program until the team went bankrupt .

In 2015 , Morris competed for Status Grand Prix in the GP3 series . He finished the season in 18th place overall.
