Sebastiaan Bleekemolen (born August 9, 1978 in Haarlem ) is a Dutch automobile racing driver . He is the son of the racing driver Michael Bleekemolen and the brother of Jeroen Bleekemolen .

Career

Bleekemolen achieved his first successes in 1996 in the Dutch Formula Ford 1600 and Formula Ford 1800 Benelux by winning both championships. After a mixed year in the Renault Sport Spider Trophy , he finished fifth in the Renault Megane Trophy, in which he also drove against his father and brother, among others. In 1999 he was able to get fifth overall. In 2000 Bleekemolen was thirteenth in the family team in the Dutch Touring Car Championship. In the same year he was eleventh in the FIA GT Championship . In 2002 Bleekemolen won the Dutch Renault Clio Cup for the first time ; He was able to repeat this success in 2004 and 2011. In 2014 and 2016 he won the Renault Clio Cup Benelux. In 2017 Bleekemolen finished first in the Silverstone 24-hour race together with Melvin de Groot , Rob Smith and Rene Steenmetz .

Team Bleekemolen

Together with his father, Sebastian Bleekemolen runs the Team Bleekemolen racing team , two go-kart tracks in Amsterdam and Delft and Race Planet, where private individuals can drive sports, formula and touring cars on the Zandvoort circuit .
