Porsche Supercup 2012

The 2012 Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup was the 20th season of the Porsche Supercup. It comprised nine races. The season started on April 21st in Bahrain and ended on September 9th in Monza . René Rast won the drivers' championship, Hermes Attempto Racing the team championship. Since strong deformations of the rims were found at the start of the race in Spain, the organizers of the Porsche one-make cup decided to cancel the race in Barcelona . Christian Engelhart ( Konrad Motorsport ) got two championship points for the pole position, which he achieved on Saturday.
