Sebastian Kolb (* 1983 in Siegen , North Rhine-Westphalia ) is a German actor .

Life

Sebastian Kolb grew up in his hometown Siegen. After graduating from high school, which he passed at the Evangelical High School in the Siegen district of Weidenau , he moved to Cologne .

From 2005 to 2008 he studied acting at the drama school " Theater der Keller ". In addition to his classical acting training, he also learned horse riding , fencing and martial arts .

During his apprenticeship he performed a. a. in the Orangery Theater in Cologne's Volksgarten . Immediately after this training he was hired at the Theater Hagen , where he began his professional career as an actor with Werner Hahn in the young drama “Lutz” of the Hagen City Theater in the 2008/09 season, and in the following years several leading and supporting roles took over. From 2010 to 2016 he was part of the ensemble at Theater Hagen with a permanent guest contract; Among other things , he was on stage in fairy tale productions at Christmas such as The Frog King or The Princess on the Pea , but also as Richard Kirsch and in several roles in Wolfgang Koeppen's Tauben im Gras (season 2014/15). In 2015 he took on the title role in the world premiere of the play Prinz Shooting Star by Lisa Sommerfeldt, where he played a young prince who likes to wear women's clothes. In 2016 he took on several roles in the world premiere of the chanson and music theater piece PIAF at the Theater Hagen .

He also made guest appearances in various roles on other stages in Germany. In 2011 he played the role of Lord Alfred Douglas in the world premiere of the play Der Fall Oscar Wilde at the Freie Werkstatt Theater in Cologne as part of the 10th anniversary of the “International Summer Blood Festival” in Cologne. In 2013 he had engagements at the Art Theater Cologne and Ballhaus Ost in Berlin .

In 2014 he appeared for the first time at the Karl May Festival in Elspe in the play Unter Vultures - The Spirit of the Llano Estacado, the role of the juvenile avenger “Bloody Fox”, who punishes the criminals who also killed his parents. In 2015 he took over the Indian warrior “Little Bear” in the play The Treasure in Silver Lake . In the 2018 summer season, Kolb will be on stage again in Elspe . In Winnetou II - The Fight for Oil , he is seen in the lead role of the criminal Parranoh.

Kolb also worked for cinema, film and television. He appeared in two seasons of the Internet series Twilight . The short film Libido with him in the lead was released on DVD in 2010 (Universal). In 2014 he also made the feature film Voll Paula! ( 5 days in winter ), in which he played one of the leading roles as Max. In November 2017, he was seen in the 4th season of the ZDF series Bettys Diagnose in a supporting role as the flirtatious friend of sister Lissy ( Theresa Underberg ). From April 2018 (episode 5841) to February 2019 (episode 6043) Kolb played the role of Marc Reichert, an old school friend of the series character Saskia Weigel ( Antonia Michalsky ) in the RTL television series Unter Uns .

In addition to his acting engagements, he works as a speaker for cinema and radio advertising, among other things. Since 2007 he has been working as a radio play speaker and as a speaker for audio books , etc. a. for Amor Verlag. He was also seen on television in various advertising campaigns for Sat.1, Opel , Lufthansa and AOK . Kolb also worked regularly as a model in the print sector , u. a. for advertisements from Provinzial , Gillette and Commerzbank .

Kolb lives in Cologne.
