Second Lady of the United States
The term Second Lady of the United States ( English : Second Lady of the United States , SLOTUS ) has been used in the United States since the 1980s - based on the First Lady - as a name for the wife of the Vice President .
Karen Pence , the wife of Vice President Mike Pence , has been the second lady since 2017 .
