Lois Irene Marshall
Lois Irene Kimsey Marshall (born May 9, 1873 - January 6, 1958 in Phoenix , Arizona ) was the wife of Thomas R. Marshall , the former Vice President of the United States .
She was born the first of three children to a civil servant. She met her future husband while helping her father with work. The two married in September 1895.
After the death of her husband, Lois Marshall moved to Phoenix. The couple is buried together in the Crown Hill Mausoleum in Indianapolis .
