Ann Gerry
Ann Thompson Gerry (* 1763 ; † 1849 ) was the wife of the prominent US politician Elbridge Gerry , who was Vice President of the United States from 1813 to 1814 . She was the United States ' second second lady after Abigail Adams , as Thomas Jefferson , Aaron Burr, and George Clinton were widowers during their tenures.
Ann was the daughter of a wealthy New York merchant and married Gerry in 1786. The couple had ten children together between 1787 and 1801.
