Ilo Wallace
Ilo Browne Wallace (born March 10, 1888 Indianola , Iowa , † February 22, 1981 in South Salem , New York ) was the wife of Henry A. Wallace , the former Vice President of the United States .
On May 20, 1914, she married Wallace. She gave birth to two sons and a daughter. Using her parents' inheritance, she and her husband built the Hi-Bred Corn Company in 1926 .
