Marilyn Quayle
Marilyn Tucker Quayle (born July 29, 1949 in Indianapolis , Indiana ) is an American lawyer and the wife of Dan Quayle , the former Vice President of the United States of America .
Life
Marilyn Quayle studied Political Science at Purdue University . She completed her studies with a bachelor's degree . At the Indiana University School of Law , where she made her evening classes doctorate in law did, she met her future husband. Together they founded a law firm in Huntington . After Dan Quayle became Vice President in 1989, she was offered his vacant seat in the US Senate , which she refused. During her husband's tenure, she served on the boards of various organizations such as USAID and the National Cancer Institute . She wrote two novels with her sister, Nancy Tucker Northcott . Today she works for a law firm. The Quayles have three grown children. Born in 1976 the son Ben was one from 2011 to 2013 as a member of parliament from Arizona to the United States House of Representatives on.
