action

The engineer Max Klaar, a man “in his prime” as they say, is divorced and has a teenage daughter named Elisabeth. Because she is a real tomboy and otherwise behaves more like boys of her age, she is usually called “Peter”. One day, when Elisabeth went through one of her daring ventures with friend Peperl, she fell into the water and almost drowned. Peter is lucky that the young Helga happens to be around, who saves her life at the last moment.

Peter is enthusiastic about Helga, who she wished that one day she might even become her new mother. But suddenly her birth mother, the glamorous actress Nora Christian, appears. She takes her daughter with her without her father's knowledge and wants to introduce her to her artistic circles in Vienna. However, Peter doesn't feel at home there and, driven by homesickness, runs away to return to her father and friends. Max Klaar, Peperl and Helga give you a warm welcome back home.
