Selim Akbulut (born August 6, 1984 in Maçka ) is a Turkish football player in the service of Düzyurtspor .
Career
society
Akbulut was born in Maçka, a district in the Trabzon province, and began playing club football in the youth of Trabzonspor . In the summer of 2004, at the request of the then head coach Ziya Doğan, he received a professional contract and took part in the pre-season preparatory camp with the professional team. On September 11, 2004, he made his professional debut during the league encounter against Denizlispor . For the second half of the season he was loaned to the then second division club Bursaspor . For this team he completed three league games by the end of the season.
In the summer of 2005 he was loaned to the second division club and the then second strongest team in the Trabzon province, Akçaabat Sebatspor . At that time, this club had very good relations with Trabzonspor and had players made available on favorable terms. With this in mind, Akbulut was loaned to Sebatspor. After he established himself in the starting line-up at this club, he moved to Sebatspor at the end of the season, including a transfer fee.
The 2006/07 season ended Sebatspor on the penultimate place in the table and missed relegation. After this relegation Akbulut left the club and moved to his old club Trabzonspor . The decisive factor in this change was that Akbulut's supporter Doğan was again working as a coach at Trabzonspor.
Nevertheless, Akbulut was for the first half of the 2007/08 season to the third division Arsinspor . For this club he played up to and then switched to the second division team Malatyaspor, including the transfer fee . After Malatyaspor relegated to the TFF 2nd Lig in summer 2009 , Akbulut left this club. The following time he played for various clubs in the TFF 2nd Lig and TFF 3rd Lig .
For the second half of the 2012/13 season he moved to the second division Şanlıurfaspor . After one season, Akbulut moved on to third division Giresunspor . With this club he reached the third division championship on the last day of the season and thus promotion to the TFF 1. Lig. After the promotion with Giresunspor, he left this club and moved to the third division club Düzyurtspor .
