Selina Kriechbaum
Selina Kriechbaum (born October 6, 1995 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German model and former beauty queen .
Life
Kriechbaum grew up in Karben before moving to Nidderau with her two parents in 1998 . She has a sister (* 1998) and a brother (* 1999). In 2013, she completed her high school diploma with advanced courses in art and English at the Higher State School . In 2016 she successfully completed her training as a bank clerk at a private customer bank.
Model career
In 2012 she was signed for the first time by a model agency in Mainz . While she attended the high school high school , she built her career. She then works full-time as a model, including for well-known clients such as L'Oréal , Kao Germany or for Schwarzkopf as part of the German Hairdressing Award . In 2014 she switched to the Amaze Models agency .
In 2015, she took part in the tenth season of the casting show Germany's Next Top Model . She was one of the surprise candidates and received a wildcard from Heidi Klum , with which she skipped one round of the casting show and automatically rose to the top 50.
Today Selina Kriechbaum works mainly as a photo model, e.g. B. for the Lumas (gallery) with star photographer Gabriele Oestreich . She also works as a catwalk model. Her references are the Düsseldorf Fashion Week and the Paris Fashion Week . She is also an international advertising face for various products and is under contract with the Oxygen Models agency in London .
National and international beauty contests
After leaving the casting show, Kriechbaum was named Miss MGO Hessen 2015 and Vice Top Model Germany 2015 . In 2015 she took 3rd place in the national competition for Miss Germany . The following year, she competed for Baltic Sea in the Top Model of the World (WBO) election in Hurghada , from which she qualified in 2015. Here she came 15th out of 50 candidates in the world finals and achieved the title Queen of Europe .
The following January, Kriechbaum stood as the German representative in the election for the Reinado Internacional del Café 2016 in Colombia . In the summer, Kriechbaum won the title Miss World Germany 2016 and qualified as the German representative of the Miss World election 2016 in Washington, DC In November 2017, she was the first German since the turn of the century to win a place in an international election and was chosen Third place at Miss Global 2017 in Cambodia . She is now in the Royal Court of the Miss Global Organization .
