The Selinog Island Protected Landscape / Seascape is located in the province of Zamboanga del Norte , in the Mindanao Sea , in the Philippines . It was established on and around Selinog Island by Presidential Decree No. 276 on April 23, 2000. It belongs to the administrative area of ​​the city of Dapitan City . The Selinog Island Protected Landscape / Seascape is a combined nature reserve and marine reserve . It covers an area of ​​960.26 hectares and a circumferential buffer zone with 1,294.35 hectares . The island can be reached via ferry connections via Dipolog City and Dapitan City.

The Selinog Island Protected Landscape / Seascape was set up to support the Selinog Island Dapitan Women's Association (SIDWA), which is committed to securing the livelihoods of the local population.
