The Serkhe Khollu , also called Sirki Qullu , is the main peak of the Serranias Serki and Murillo , a subgroup of the Cordillera Real between the Mururata and the Chacaltaya regions in Bolivia . The mountain is glaciated and is located near Sirki-Khota Lake.

Due to the poor roads, it is only possible to get there by off-road vehicle as far as Lake Challa Pata . A trekking path takes about five hours to get below Lake Sirki Khota. From here it is another 2 hours to the foot of the wall.

Ascents

The first to climb the Serkhe Khollu are still unknown today. In 2004 an Austrian expedition undertook an inspection of the west wall of the Serkhe Khollu. The route is called "through the nostril" . Due to the retreat of the glacier , the original version of the climbing route is no longer available. In June 2010 the German-Austrian alpinists Florian Hill , Stefan Berger and Robert Rauch opened a new route on the south-west face of the Serkhe Khollu with difficulty VII, WI5, M5 , E5 in alpine style .
