Shane Briant

Shane Briant (born August 17, 1946 in London , † May 27, 2021 ) was a British - Australian actor .

Life

Briant has worked primarily in Australian and British cinema and television productions. After graduating from school, he first played theater and then switched to film. He was seen, for example, in the 1973 television adaptation of The Portrait of Dorian Gray or the John Huston strip The Mackintosh Man . He received his first important film roles in the early 1970s from Hammer Films , which specializes in horror fabrics , for example in Frankenstein's Hell Monster (1974) in the second leading role behind Peter Cushing .

In later years Briant appeared in various guest roles in well-known television series such as Time Trax - Back to the Future , The Flying Doctors , Farscape and The Lost World .
