Shary ( Ukrainian Згари ; Russian Згары Sgary , polish Zhary ) is in the West Ukraine lying settlement with about 30 inhabitants (2001).

Shary has existed since at least the 19th century and is located in the Gorgany , a mountain range of the Forest Carpathians , in the southwest of Nadvirna Rajon of Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast , about 35 kilometers southwest of the Rajon capital Nadvirna near the border with Transcarpathian Oblast .

The settlement with an area of ​​8.3 km², together with the villages of Bystryzja and Klympuschi ( Климпуші ) and the settlement of Prytschil ( Причіл ), belongs to the Bystryzja district council .
