Silke Braas

Silke Braas (born October 21, 1978 in Recklinghausen ) is a German musical artist , singer and dancer .

Life

Silke Braas discovered her love for music as a child and worked in various musical productions and in her parents' recording studio until she was a teenager. From 1995 she worked as a violin and piano teacher and taught jazz dance in ballet schools. This was followed by engagements as a violinist with the metal band Rage and the Rock Orchester Ruhrgebeat, as well as activities as a singing teacher.

At the same time, Braas completed a degree at the Folkwang University of Music, Theater and Dance with a focus on violin, singing and piano. In 2002 she trained as a musical actress at the Stella Academy in Hamburg .

From 1986 she took part in musical concerts and in 2000 she was involved as a singer and choreographer in the musical gala MusicalHeartBeat . In between she was active as a dancer for jazz and modern dance in the 2nd Bundesliga. In 2001 she was engaged for the first time in a large musical production. Since then, Braas has been singing and playing in major large-scale productions on the German-speaking musical scene.

Braas has been married to the singer and musical actor Lucius Wolter since May 5, 2012 . They have a son and a daughter together.

Engagements
