Simon Greiderer (born January 18, 1996 ) is a former Austrian ski jumper .

Career

Greiderer to start for HSV Absam-Bergisel Tirol and the ski school Stams visited, made his international debut at junior jumping from 2008 to 2011. In January 2012, belonged Greiderer in Bischofshofen for the first time B-squad Ski Jumping Continental Cup , could However, they do not rank among the points. Also in the second competition he was able to take a top place in fifth. In January 2014 he was part of the national group in Innsbruck and Bischofshofen as part of the Four Hills Tournament 2013/14 . After he missed the qualification in Innsbruck, he made it in Bischofshofen and made his debut in the ski jumping world cup on January 6th 2014 on the Paul-Ausserleitner-Schanze . Although he missed the second round in 48th place and first points, he was able to place 64th in the tour's overall standings.

At the 2014 Junior World Championships in Val di Fiemme , Greiderer jumped to 19th place in the individual, before winning the silver medal in the team competition with Ulrich Wohlgenannt , Elias Tollinger and Patrick Streitler . After the Junior World Championships, he jumped into the points in the Continental Cup several times and finished the Ski Jumping Continental Cup 2013/14 in March in 41st place overall.

In summer 2014 Greiderer started again in the Alpine and FIS Cup. On September 27, 2014, he won his second Alpine Cup competition in Tschagguns .

After Greiderer won two FIS Cup competitions in the 2015/16 season and achieved further good placements, he finished third in the overall ranking at the end of the season.
