Simone Weiler

Simone Weiler (born Karn; born December 16, 1978 in Speyer ) is a German swimmer . Their main position is the breaststroke . Weiler originally comes from Rhineland-Palatinate , but has lived in Heidelberg since 2007 , trains at the local SV Nikar Heidelberg under her trainer Michael Spikermann and works part-time as a tax clerk. In 2002 she was awarded the highest sporting award, the silver laurel leaf , by the then incumbent Federal President Johannes Rau .
