Sixto Jáuregui Carbajo (born December 1, 1931 in Lima , Peru , † December 27, 2018 ) was a Peruvian carom player in the three- cushion discipline .

Career

Jáuregui, who grew up in the "Primero o Barrio de Monserrate" in Lima, founded the fame of Peruvian billiards in the 1960s and 1970s together with Adolfo Suárez Perret and Humberto Suguimitzu Honda . He won in Trujillo Peru in 1985 , together with Máximo Aguirre Santillán (living in Germany at the time and playing for the second German team at the three-cushion world championships for national teams in 1991 and 1992) a national title and a Latin American team title.

He set the world record of 15 in the highest series (HS) at the three-cushion world championship for national teams in 1985 in Bordeaux, France , which was later exceeded by 2 points by the Swede Torbjörn Blomdahl .

In old age he lived in New York, USA and probably died there.
