course
The Skalička rises northeast of Medlice in the Jevišovická pahorkatina ( Jaispitzer hill country ). The stream takes a south-easterly direction on its upper course and is dammed in the Jezírka pond. Its predominantly tree-lined and unpopulated valley leads past Višňové , Pustý Zámek and Trstěnice to Skalice .
On its middle course, the Skalička flows past Chlupice , Hostěradice and Rybnický Mlýn through the Boskovická brázda ( Boskowitz furrow ). The wet meadows on the pond site of the former Schankwitzer pond between Rybnický Mlýn and Karlov are protected as a natural monument of Oleksovická mokřina. Below it, the Skalička is dammed in the Oleksovice reservoir .
The lower course of the stream leads in a south-westerly direction past Nový Dvůr, Oleksovice , Mšice and Stošíkovice na Louce into the Thaya-Schwarza Depression . On its last section, the Skalička flows parallel to the Jevišovka and flows into the Jevišovka above Lechovice - opposite the confluence of the Únanovka.
