Sofia Nati ( Greek Σοφία Νάτη ; born April 19, 1993 in Oberhausen ) is a Greek - German soccer player .

Career

Nati started playing soccer at SG Osterfeld . She later moved to Arminia Klosterhardt , with whom she played until the end of 2006. At the beginning of 2007 she moved to SG Essen-Schönebeck , for which she was initially used in the male C-youth of the SGS. At the beginning of the 2008/09 season she came into the squad of the Bundesliga team.

She played her first Bundesliga game at the age of 15 on September 28, 2008 in a 4-0 away win against Herford SV , when she was substituted on in the 70th minute. She is the second youngest Bundesliga player of all time. Nati's first Bundesliga goal followed in the game against Bayern Munich . For the 2011/12 season she moved to the Bundesliga club SC 07 Bad Neuenahr , which she left after the latter's voluntary withdrawal from the Bundesliga at the end of the 2012/13 season.

In July 2013, Nati returned to the Ruhr area for FCR 2001 Duisburg , to which she remained loyal both after moving to MSV Duisburg on January 1, 2014 and after relegating to the Bundesliga in 2014/15. On June 8, 2014 (22nd matchday), she scored five goals in a Bundesliga game in a 7-0 home win against the relegated VfL Sindelfingen . National team

The daughter of Greek parents first went through the junior selection of the DFB . On August 13, 2007 she made her international debut in the U-15 national team when they defeated Denmark 3-0 in Holzwickede . Two days later, Nati scored their first two international goals in Recklinghausen in a 5-0 win over Ireland. She made her debut in the U-16 national team on October 30, 2007 in Wiesloch in a 7-0 win over France, scoring two goals.

She played her only game for the U-17 national team on September 4, 2009 in a 0-0 draw against Iceland and was 16 years old when she played for the U-19 national team for the first time on March 3, 2010 . which in La Manga / Spain was defeated by the USA with 0: 1 ( Elsig own goal ).
