Solmser Strasse
The Solmser Strasse running from Braunfels to Kronberg im Taunus is a holiday route in Central Hesse .
It mainly leads through (art) historically important places in the former counties and principalities of the House of Solms . It begins on the northern edge of the Taunus , leads over the Gladenbacher Bergland , the Hüttenberger Land and the Wetterau to the western edge of the Vogelsberg , and finally ends in the Vordertaunus. The length of the road is about 210 km.

In addition to a charming landscape and beautiful hiking trails, attractions such as the Braunfels Castle, Greifenstein Castle with the German Bell Museum, the historic old towns in Herborn and Wetzlar, and the Cistercian monastery in Arnsburg in Lich attract visitors.
