Solomon Busendich
Solomon Busendich (also: Solomon Bushendich ; born January 10, 1984 near Mount Elgon ) is a Kenyan long-distance runner who specializes in road running.
In 2001 he became the African junior champion in the 10,000 meter run . In 2003 he set his best times over 3000 m (7: 45.07 min), 5000 m (13: 12.83 min) and 10,000 m (28: 05.99 min).
The following year he made his debut on the half marathon course and finished second in the Berlin half marathon in 1:00:42 h. In 2005 he started a marathon for the first time , but did not reach the goal of the New York City Marathon . In 2006 he improved himself as third in the Rotterdam half marathon to 1:00:14 h and won the Amsterdam marathon in 2:08:52 h with two seconds ahead of Bernard Barmasai . In 2007, as in the previous year, he finished second in the City – Pier – City Loop half marathon ( The Hague ) and increased his time over this distance to 1:00:13.
