The Summer Universiade 2019 , officially XXX. Summer Universiade , took place from July 3rd to 14th in the southern Italian city ​​of Naples .

Award

Brasília was chosen as the host in November 2013 . In 2015, however, the alignment was waived because of the financial risks. In May 2016, Naples was chosen to host the Universiade 2019.
