Detmold Social Court
The Detmold Social Court is a social justice court . The court is one of eight social courts in North Rhine-Westphalia and has its seat in Detmold . The Detmold Labor Court is located in the same building .
Courthouse
The court building of the Detmold social court is located at Richthofenstraße 3 .
The planning of the building erected between 1827 and 1828 as a puncture house was drawn up by Ferdinand Brune . Beggars, vagrants, alcoholics, prostitutes and similar corrigenda were admitted to the penal works house for 14 days to three months. From 1870 to 1945 the building served as a barracks, also for the Lipper Schützen . After 1945 the building was used by various state authorities.
Judicial district and higher courts
The Detmold social court is locally responsible for the city of Bielefeld and the districts of Gütersloh , Herford , Höxter , Lippe , Minden-Lübbecke and Paderborn . It keeps in Bielefeld, Hoexter , Minden and Paderborn court days off. The factual jurisdiction results from the Social Court Act .
The Regional Social Court of North Rhine-Westphalia in Essen is the higher-level instance. The Federal Social Court in Kassel is superordinate to this.
