history
The Spar- und Kreditbank eG Hammah was founded on June 19, 1923 as a savings and loan bank eGmuH in Hammah . In 1951 the bank's first building was built. On June 24, 1945, the company was transformed from a cooperative with unlimited liability into a cooperative with limited liability.
In 1965 it was merged with the savings and loan fund eGmbH Wiepenkathen, founded in 1913 . Several branches were opened in the mid-1960s: in 1965 in Düdenbüttel and Stade- Haddorf , in 1966 in Stade-Hahle. In 1981 an office followed in Stade-Hagen.
In 1983 the head office moved to the new business premises at Bahnhofstrasse 43 in Hammah, where the bank is still based today. In 2001 the Stade-Haddorf office was rebuilt; In 2007 the Hammah headquarters was expanded with an extension. The office in Stade-Haddorf was closed at the beginning of 2014.
