Speckhorn / Bockholt is a district in the north of the Recklinghausen area .

The district borders on Oer-Erkenschwick ( Honermannsiedlung ), Marl - Sinsen and Herten - Scherlebeck . Lowest point at around 60  m above sea level. NHN is the exit of the Nieringbach to Sinsen in the north, the highest natural point is about 108  m on the border to the Westviertel , near the Knappschaftskrankenhaus Recklinghausen , in the extreme southwest. At 124  m, the highest point on the earth is the toboggan hill on the Mollbeck in the south that was created from excavated earth in the 1960s.

The Speckhorn / Bockholt district, which is still young by name, consists of the Bockholt , Beising and Speckhorn settlements with its sub- builders Börste .
