The Springer Bach is a left tributary of the Wupper in the district of Barmen in the North Rhine-Westphalian city of Wuppertal .
Location and topography
The Springer Bach has its origin at 273 meters above sea level. NN on Oberen Lichtenplatzer Straße in the allotment garden Im Springen in the Lichtenplatz residential area . It flows in a north-westerly direction and disappears after a few meters in a dole . It does not come to the surface until it reaches its mouth. Its artificial course leads the brook below the streets Zanellastraße , Springer Straße and Engelsstraße down into the valley.
