Srđan Spiridonović (born October 13, 1993 in Vienna ) is an Austrian - Serbian football player who plays as a striker .
Career
society
Spiridonović began his career at SK Rapid Wien , where he began playing football in 2002. After seven years with the green-whites , the striker moved to the youth department of local rivals FK Austria Wien in 2009. There he came after two years in the squad of the second team, which is active in the Regionalliga Ost. His debut for the second team of the violets gave Spiridonović on March 26, 2011 against SC Columbia Floridsdorf , where he was substituted in the 69th minute for Eric Plattensteiner . In three years he came to a total of 44 missions and scored 18 goals.
After good performance with the amateurs, Spiridonović was brought into the squad of the Bundesliga team under coach Peter Stöger . There he made his debut in the top Austrian division on October 21, 2012 in the Vienna Derby against his ex-club Rapid Vienna. He came on as a substitute for Tomas Šimkovič in stoppage time in the second half . The game in the Generali Arena was won 2-0.
At the end of the 2012/13 season he was Austrian champion with Vienna Austria. After a defeat in the Vienna Derby in October 2013, he was no longer considered by coach Nenad Bjelica . In 2014 he moved to Vicenza Calcio . In January 2015 he was loaned by the ACR Messina until summer.
On August 28, 2015, the striker moved back from Italy to Austria for FC Admira Wacker Mödling . In August 2017, his contract with the Lower Austrians was terminated. In the same month he moved to Greece to Panionios Athens , where he received a contract valid until June 2020.
For the 2019/20 season he moved to Poland to Pogoń Stettin , where he received a contract that ran until June 2022. After a season in Poland he moved to Serbia to FK Red Star Belgrade for the 2020/21 season .
National team
Internationally, the striker completed 12 games for various youth national teams in Austria. For the U-21, he made his debut on October 12, 2012 against the DR Congo . At the game in Melk Spiridonović came on for Kevin Stöger . The game was won 5-1.
