Richmond Yiadom Boakye (born January 28, 1993 in Accra ) is a Ghanaian football player . He is currently under contract with FK Roter Stern Belgrade .

Career

society

Boakye began his career in his native Ghana with Bechem United and DC United before moving to Europe in 2009. The CFC Genoa took him into their youth team, from 2009 he played in both the club's first and second team. He made his Serie A debut on April 3, 2010, the 32nd game day, when he came on in the eleventh minute for David Suazo . In the home game against AS Livorno he shot Genoa 1-0 lead, the game ended 1: 1. In his first season with the Genoese he came on three league appearances and scored one goal. In the 2011/11 season he won the Supercoppa Primavera with the second team of CFC Genoa against the second team of AC Milan , in a 5-0 victory he managed a brace. In the league he played four games that season, but remained without a goal. For the 2011/12 season he was loaned to Serie B to US Sassuolo Calcio , he scored the 2-1 on his debut on matchday 1 in a 3-1 win against ASG Nocerina . At the end of the season, his personal record showed 32 completed league games and ten goals. He was also used in two play-off games. In July 2012, he moved to Juventus Turin for around four million euros . In August 2012 the US Sassuolo Calcio was awarded again for a year in the series B. There he scored a total of eleven goals in 32 league appearances. Since the end of August 2013 he has been on loan to FC Elche in Spain . In the current 2013/14 season, he played eleven league games and scored three goals until his last appearance on November 24, 2013. Boakye was loaned to Atalanta Bergamo with a purchase option for the 2014/2015 season. The purchase option was then drawn and he moved to Bergamo Fest, although he was loaned to Roda Kerkrade in the Dutch Eredivisie for the 2015/16 season.

For the 2017/18 season, Boakye finally moved to Red Star Belgrade after a temporary loan from Latina and left the club again in February 2018, in the direction of Jiangsu Suning for a transfer fee of 5.5 million euros. After the second half of 2017/18, Boakye moved back to FK Roter Stern for the 2018/19 season. Jiangsu received a fee of 1.5 million euros after half a year. The new Boakye contract is valid until June 2020.

National team

He made his debut for the U-20s of Ghana in 2010, taking part in the 2011 U-20 African Cup of Nations. Ghana were eliminated in the preliminary round. In 2013, Boakye took part in the U-20 World Cup in Turkey with the Ghanaian U-20s , played there in six tournament matches and scored two goals. He is said to have played a total of nine U-20 internationals and scored three international goals. In the senior national team he was in the squad for the first time at the 2012 African Cup of Nations, Ghana reached fourth place, but he remained without a commitment. On August 15, 2012, he made his debut in the game against the Chinese national soccer team , he headed the 1: 1 final score in the 80th minute.
