The church was built in 1903 in place of a medieval predecessor over three axes in the neo-Romanesque style in natural stone masonry . If the areas of the galleries are viewed as aisles , then it is a hall church .
It has a choir tower with three floors in the east, to which an apse with a 5/8 end is attached. The corners of the nave and the tower are provided with buttresses . The nave and the top floor of the tower have bifories . The nave is provided with a slate-covered gabled roof covered, the chorus tower carries a pointed pyramid roof with the clock tower , crowned with a tower ball .
The central nave, ie the area between the galleries, is covered with a barrel vault. The pulpit stands in front of the choir arch . The organ with 14 registers , divided into 2 manuals and pedal , was built in 1910 by Wiegand Helferbein.
