St. Hubertus (Ehlingen)
The St. Hubertus Chapel in Ehlingen , a district of Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler in the Ahrweiler district in northern Rhineland-Palatinate , is a Catholic chapel from the 18th century.
history
A chapel is first mentioned in Ehlingen in the middle of the 17th century. The choir walls were reused in the construction of the St. Hubertus chapel . The nave with two stone groin vaults on the wall pilasters was built in 1773. The year 1773 is carved over the entrance portal .
A square roof ridge adorns the slate roof.
The sculpture of St. Hubertus on the baroque , columned high altar . There are two more Hubertus sculptures from the 16th and 17th centuries in the chapel.
