Construction and equipment

The nave is a stone-faced three-axis hall building with a choir closed on three sides and arched windows . The flat painted ceiling with length girders secures the space upwards. The ship has a west gallery . In the upper area of the baroque altar, the middle shrine and wings of a late Gothic winged altar from the end of the 15th century are integrated, which may come from the previous church, not mentioned. Biblical scenes and figures of saints are shown. Further sculptures of saints from the second half of the 15th century adorn the church. The pulpit dates from 1700, the baptismal font from 1788. Norbert Krohmer painted the ceiling paintings of the Holy Family and the miracle of roses of St. Elisabeth around 1928.

The organ was manufactured by the Wetzel company from Hanover in 1932.

The three bells were cast in Hemelingen / Bremen ( Otto bell foundry ), Gescher and Apolda . The OTTO bell was cast in 1889, making it one of the few historic bells by Otto that survived both world wars.

The roof turret with tail hood and open lantern is on the west side.
