St. Margareta in late Gothic style was built at the beginning of the 16th century. With a Romanesque core, it was remodeled in baroque style in the 18th century. The west tower dates from the 15th century, the choir and sacristy from the beginning of the 16th century. The hall structure consists of a nave and a choir with a five-eighth end that is not in the axis . The tower is surrounded by a gabled roof completed, the ground floor is by a ribbed vault covered. The choir has a reticulated vault and the nave is provided with a needle cap barrel. The nave was rebuilt and expanded as part of the Baroque style in the 18th century. The baroque altars (around 1680/90) that were removed in 1972 were then put up again on the initiative of the Aschheim community in 1993/94. Today, the church is largely in the baroque style again.
