The dean's office in Munich-Trudering is a dean's office of the Roman Catholic Church in the Archdiocese of Munich and Freising . Around 64,000 Catholics live in the deanery. In terms of territory, the deanery covers roughly the east of Munich around the Trudering district , as well as parts of the neighboring district. At the moment 16 parishes belong to the Trudering deanery. The 2020 structure plan of the Archdiocese of Munich and Freising provides that the Trudering deanery will in future include six parish associations (the parish of Neufarn will also be included here), as well as the individual parishes of Ascension Day and Angering . The Dean was Thomas Kratochvil until his resignation at the end of 2016. On February 28, 2018, Kilian-Thomas Semel was introduced to his office as dean.

Catholic associations and groups in the Trudering deanery

Association of German Catholic Youth (BDKJ) in the dean's office in Munich-Trudering

The Federation of German Catholic Youth (BDKJ) is made up of the member associations of the BDKJ represented in the Munich-Trudering dean's office. He represents the political, social and church interests of the Catholic youth of the deanery, especially at the city and regional assembly of the BDKJ. The BDKJ Trudering is managed by the BDKJ Dean's Board, which is the Dean's youth leadership. Member associations in Trudering are:

KjG Trudering

The middle level of the Catholic young community Trudering (KjG Trudering) is the deanery association of the Catholic young community in the deanery Munich-Trudering. The KjG Trudering organizes various events and offers, with the aim of bringing together and networking young people from the various parishes from the deanery. In addition, the training of group leaders is taken over by the course leaders of the KjG Trudering. The KjG Trudering is a member of the Diocesan Association of Munich and Freising of the KjG. The middle level management (MEL) of the KjG Trudering represents the interests of the young people in the dean's office Munich-Trudering at the diocesan conferences and diocesan councils of the KjG Munich and Freising.

There are three tribes of the German Scouting Society Sankt Georg (DPSG) in the Trudering deanery :

  • Columbus tribe (in Neukeferloh)
  • Condor tribe (in Munich - parish of the Ascension of Christ)
  • Tribe Gallileo Gallilei (in Munich-Riem - Parish St. Florian)
