St. Marien (Lützensommern)
The Evangelical Lutheran Church of St. Marien is in Lützensommern , a district of the municipality of Kutzleben in the Unstrut-Hainich district of Thuringia . The parish Lützensömmern belongs to the parish Bad Tennstedt in the parish of Mulhouse the Evangelical Church in Central Germany .

The three sides closed Saalkirche of rubble core dates from the 16th century. The church tower in the west was demolished in the 20th century. In its place there is a separate belfry . It has two buttresses on the western gable . The nave is covered with a gable roof, the interior has a flat ceiling . The baptismal font dates from the Renaissance , but its base has been renewed. An epitaph with the image of the donor family from 1693 stands in front of the crucified . The organ with 4 registers , divided into a manual and an attached pedal , ie the keyboard of the pedal does not have its own register, but is permanently linked to a register of the manual. It was built in 1985 by the organ builder Reinhard Hüfken .
