The Roman Catholic parish church of St. Martin in Werbach in the Main-Tauber district was built between 1841 and 1843 and is consecrated to St. Martin of Tours .

The Werbach parish church was built between 1841 and 1843 and is consecrated to St. Martin of Tours . The church was planned by the architect August Mosburger (1802-1858) and built from sandstone . Another work by the architect is the St. Venantius Church in Wertheim . The church was completely renovated from 2013 to 2014.
The St. Martins Church belongs to the pastoral care unit Großrinderfeld-Werbach, which is assigned to the deanery Tauberbischofsheim of the Archdiocese of Freiburg .

Monument protection
The church is located on the main road 57 and is available as Miscellaneous monument under monument protection . It is a barrel-vaulted building with a gable tower in historicizing forms; 1842 designated.
organ
The organ of the parish church of St. Martin is a work of the well-known Hardheim organ workshop Vleugels . It was put into operation in 1978 for musical praise of God.
Other equipment
A large picture of the patron Saint Martin and various statues still indicate the deep bond between the believers and the saints, especially Mary , the Mother of God . The parish church has windows in the choir with depictions of the local patron ( St. Sebastian ), the apostle of the Germans ( St. Bonifatius ) and St. Cecilia , which form the climax of the representation.
