history
The church was dedicated to the martyr Vincent of Valencia . His figure, with the grate in hand as the symbol of his martyrdom, adorns the lintel of the main entrance.
Of the medieval church , built around 1240, only the tower built around 1240 is preserved. The rectangular baroque hall with the retracted choir was built from 1739 to 1740. Paintings by Johann Voleanus can be seen on the ceiling. The uniform interior from 1740 has been completely preserved. In front of the church is a crucifixion group from the workshop of Hans Backoffen , created around 1508–1510.
organ
The organ was built in 1906 by the organ building company Johannes Klais (Bonn). It stands in a historic organ case that was created in 1740 by Johannes Kohlhaas the Elder . The instrument, with its striking fundamental tone, has 23 registers on two manuals and a pedal . It has no tongue (s). The actions are pneumatic. As a playing aid, the instrument has fixed combinations as well as a melody coupler and a sub-octave coupler, which are not functional.
