The UZB - Czegled bis Bihar were eleven separate tender locomotives of the Hungarian Central Railway (UZB) of Austria-Hungary , which were built from 1847.

Since the 1B locomotives Nádor and István proved their worth, UZB ordered additional machines of this type, albeit from the WRB locomotive factory . The locomotives were delivered in 1847 . They got the names of central Hungarian places

The machines had internal frames and external horizontally arranged cylinders. The standing boiler ceiling was designed to be semi-cylindrical. The shock, tension and suspension springs developed by John Baillie , UZB's mechanical engineering director, were used for the first time on these machines .

When the UZB became part of the kk southeastern state railway (SöStB) in 1850 , the locomotives were given the operating numbers 17-27. When the SöStB was sold to the Staats-Eisenbahn-Gesellschaft (StEG) in 1855 , the machines were given the company numbers 78–84. The "ÜLLÖ", "SZOLNOK", "NAGYMAROS" and "BIHAR" were sold to the Kaiser Ferdinands-Nordbahn (KFNB) in 1856 and were given the operating numbers 61, 67, 55 and 51 (cf. KFNB - Nestor to Ariadne, Bihar to Üllö, Jason II ).

The KFNB machines were decommissioned from 1896 to 1900, while the StEG decommissioned the locomotives of this series as early as 1876 and 1879.

In 1850, the WRB locomotive factory built three more of these tried and tested locomotives for the UZB, but these have already been delivered to the SöStB. They were given the names "CSILLAG", "DEÁKI" and "DIOSZEGH" and (at the SöStB) the company numbers 28-30. At the StEG, they were initially 85-87, from 1873 finally category IIIe and 364-366.

The different delivery series differed in that the steam dome was initially located on the first, later on the second boiler section, and different types of chimney.
