Amapá State Championship
The state championship of Amapá is the football championship of the state of Amapá (Portuguese: Campeonato Amapaense de Futebol ) in Brazil . It has been held annually since 1944 - with the exception of 1949 and 1996 - and has been organized by the Federação Amapaense de Futebol (FAF) football association since 1945 .
Until 1990, football in Amapá was played at amateur level. The record champion is the Esporte Clube Macapá from the state capital Macapá with 17 titles.
