The state road 2307 (abbreviation: St 2307) is a 13 km main road in the district of Aschaffenburg in Lower Franconia , of Mömbris to Bessenbach leads. The St 2307 serves, among other things, as a motorway feeder from the Kahlgrund to the A 3 and connects the federal highway 26 with the former B 8 (downgraded to the St 2312 ). Due to its importance as one of the main traffic arteries coming from the Kahlgrund, it was nicknamed the “Kahlgrund Highway” on the northern section.

It begins in the Mömbris district of Schimborn on the 2305 state road . In the further course it touches the villages Feldkahl and Hösbach . The St 2307 then crosses the Bundesstraße 26 and the Bundesautobahn 3 and then leads through the towns of Hösbach-Bahnhof and Keilberg to Straßbessenbach . There it ends at Staatsstrasse 2312 (formerly Bundesstrasse 8 ).

Previous route
Since the 1970s, the route of State Road 2307 has changed significantly in many areas.
In the Feldkahl area, the state road still led into the village and then branched off to the south in the direction of Hösbach. This old section of the road, which was closed at the time, is still recognizable today (location) . The further course led through the area of today's golf course.
Above Hösbach, the 2307 state road then ran as Schöllkrippener Straße to the center of the village (Lage) . Later a direct bypass road to the B 26 was built and the old route downgraded to the AB 24 district road. In 2014 it was decided to shut down this direct access to the center of Hösbach.
Similar to the State Road 2307, there are also old, now disused sections of the St 2305 between Hanau and Schimborn, which are still visible today.
